Hidden Hollow Cottage came by its name honestly, for it is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac off Wellfleet’s historic and scenic Paine Hollow Road. Acres and acres of conservation land and Blackfish Creek surround this Cape Cod Vacation Home. Flora and fauna, from large oaks and locust trees, to Lily-of-the-Valley, hydrangeas, butterfly bushes, and more, encircle the cottage. Aside from the occasional wild turkey, you’ll be left alone. You can enjoy the views of Cape Cod Bay from one of three outdoor patios or the deck, your choice.Convenient. When you stay at Hidden Hollow Cottage, you’re centrally located, which makes it easy to launch into all your favorite Cape Cod activities. Some of Doctor Beach’s Top 10 selections are minutes away. Choose from the family-oriented LeCount Hollow, the surfer’s White Crest, the Beachcomber’s Cahoon Hollow, or the fisherman’s Newcomb Hollow, and you’re set for the day. The century-old South Wellfleet General store, known for it’s delicious sandwiches and the Blue Willow’s tasty breakfast pastries are en route to either the beach or the Cape Cod Bike Trail. Wellfleet’s Town Center is equally close, with art galleries, restaurants, shops and ice cream stands nearby. Action-oriented Wellfleet vacationers trot down to the nearby Town Landing for a morning paddle in their kayaks, while hikers march through the numerous trails in the Fox Marsh Conservation Area. All of the beds are made prior to your arrival. Bath and face towels and washcloths are in each bathroom. The kitchen is completely furnished including new appliances, a full compliment of cookware to satisfy discerning chefs, and an assortment of stemmed glassware. We supply enough paper products for your visit, as well as laundry and dish detergent. As if that’s not enough, we’ve even packed your beach bag complete with enormous beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and an assortment of toys for the kids.
