Our motto is “make yourself at home.” Our goal is to create a vacation home that you'll want to return to year-after-year. To ensure your comfort, you’ll find all the beds made with fresh linens. There is an abundance of clean towels and basic bathroom provisions (such as hair dryer and soap) in the bathrooms. Enough paper products are included for your entire stay. For a complete list of amenities, please click here.Reluctantly, we understand your need to stay connected even on vacation, so Hidden Hollow Cottage is equipped with a wireless router for your laptop and a desktop computer with high-speed Internet. Both are located in the living room.The cottage sits back on a beautiful 1-acre lot about 75 yards from Blackfish Creek (fed by Cape Cod Bay). There are 3 outdoor patios, a wraparound deck, and plenty of yard space to enjoy outdoor summertime games of badminton or croquet (games included). The cottage is a saltbox designed with a split-level interior, so there are 4 floors that afford privacy and space for up to 10 guests. There are two living areas complete with cable television in each.On the 1st floor you'll find a cozy den with leather sofa and sittng area, a TV equipped with cable/DVD/VHS, and a wet bar complete with a sink, coffee maker and small refrigerator. You won’t even need to walk upstairs if you want a drink or a snack.The 2nd floor is comprised of the Master Suite, Bunk Room, laundry closet, and a storage closet. The Master Suite features a king-size bed, a sitting room, a walk-in closet and a private bath. The sitting room has a daybed (with trundle). Enjoy reading a book or magazine, or add additional guests, your choice. Two steps away is an outdoor patio with 2 Adirondack chairs and an outside shower. The Master Suite private bath offers a double vanity, toilet, shower and linen closet. The Bunk Room is perfect for kids who want an adventure away from home. Along with the bunk beds (great for building creative forts), there is a dresser for storage and lots of fun games like a magnetic dartboard and an assortment of board games and movies.In the adjoining hallway, guests will find the laundry and storage closet. A brand new stackable washer and dryer, iron, and ironing board are provided. And you need not buy laundry detergent. So skip the big grocery run, stop by the South Wellfleet General Store for your favorite foods and head straight to the beach.On the 3rd floor you’ll find two large bedrooms and a shared full-bath. The Sunset Room has a sleigh bed with a full-size mattress and dresser. The Seaglass Room has a queen-size bed and walk-in closet. The shared bath is complete with a single vanity, toilet, and tub/shower. There is a skylight as well so you’ll be able to see the birds while enjoying a bubble bath.The 4th floor has a spacious kitchen, with an adjoining living and dining room. The kitchen is state-of-the-art with a brand new tile floor, custom cabinets, Silestone countertops, and stainless steel appliances. You’ll also find all small appliances, cookware, bakeware, serving-ware, and barware with an assortment of stemware. We’ve included enough spices to suit all casual chefs, as well as paper products and cleaning supplies. On warm nights you may care to eat outside, and the wrap-around deck with teak furniture and a gas grill is only a step away. Enjoy the waterview of Cape Cod Bay, Lieutenant Island and Jeremy Point. The living room is appointed with leather sofas, cable TV equipped for DVDs, stereo, and a desktop computer with high-speed Internet. We’ve included a number of videos to watch, an assortment for young and old. If you’d prefer to read, you’ll also find an assortment of books and local and national magazines.
